Possible Causes

ECM will illuminate MIL and set DTC P0122 when an excessively low voltage is sent to ECM from TP sensor 2. ECM will illuminate MIL and set DTC P0123 when excessively high voltage is sent to ECM from TP sensor 2. Possible causes are:
- TP sensor 2 circuit open or shorted.
- Poor, loose, corroded or damaged terminal connections.
- Defective electric throttle control actuator (TP sensor 2).
