Possible Causes

ECM illuminates MIL and sets DTC P0441 when EVAP control system does not operate properly, or there is a leak between intake manifold and EVAP Control System Pressure Sensor (EVAP-CSPS). Possible causes are:

EVAP Canister Purge Volume Control Solenoid Valve (EVAP-CPVCSV) stuck closed.
Poor, loose, corroded or damaged terminal connections.
Faulty EVAP-CSPS or circuit.
Loose, disconnected or improper connection of hoses.
Loose, disconnected, misrouted or blocked hoses.
Cracked EVAP canister.
Faulty EVAP-CPVCSV circuit.
Defective APP sensor.
Blocked purge port.
Defective EVAP Canister Vent Control Valve (EVAP-CVCV).
