Possible Causes

ECM illuminates MIL and sets DTC P0441 when EVAP control system does not operate properly, or there is a leak between intake manifold and EVAP Control System Pressure Sensor (EVAP-CSPS). Possible causes are:
- EVAP Canister Purge Volume Control Solenoid Valve (EVAP-CPVCSV) stuck closed.
- Poor, loose, corroded or damaged terminal connections.
- Faulty EVAP-CSPS or circuit.
- Loose, disconnected or improper connection of hoses.
- Loose, disconnected, misrouted or blocked hoses.
- Cracked EVAP canister.
- Faulty EVAP-CPVCSV circuit.
- Defective APP sensor.
- Blocked purge port.
- Defective EVAP Canister Vent Control Valve (EVAP-CVCV).
