DTC Confirmation Test

NOTE: If DTC confirmation procedure had been previously run, turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds before continuing.

Turn ignition on. Wait at least one second. Select DATA MONITOR mode with scan tool. Start engine and wait at least one second. Turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds. Repeat engine start and ignition off 4 times. If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE . If 1st trip DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
