Diagnostic Procedure

  1. Remove fuel pump assembly from fuel tank. Measure resistance between terminals No. 2 (+) and 5 (-) at fuel level sensor (component side), with sensor at specified positions (observe polarity). See FUEL LEVEL SENSOR RESISTANCE . If resistance is as specified, go to next step. If resistance is not as specified, replace fuel level sensor.
  2. Problem may be intermittent. See INTERMITTENTS in TROUBLESHOOTING - NO CODES article.
