Vehicle Speed System

  1. CHECK VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR CIRCUITS 
    1. Remove vehicle speed sensor.
    2. Check voltage between combination meter harness connector M24 terminal 11 (L/Y) and ECM harness connector F54 terminal 58 (B).

    OK or NG 

    1. OK: Vehicle speed sensor is OK.
    2. NG: GO TO 2.
  2. CHECK VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR 

    Check resistance between vehicle speed sensor terminals + and -.

    OK or NG 

    1. OK: Check harness or connector between combination meter, vehicle speed sensor and ECM.
    2. NG: Replace vehicle speed sensor.
