Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check for A/C and AV Switch

CHECK FUSE

Make sure the following fuses of the A/C and AV switch are not blown.

A/C AND AV SWITCH FUSE CHECK CHART

Terminals		Power source	Fuse No.
Connector	Terminal (Wire color)
M48	1 (Y)	Battery power	38
	2 (P/B)	ACC power	6

OK or NG

OK : GO TO 2.
NG : If fuse is blown, be sure to eliminate case of malfunction before installing new fuse. Refer to POWER DISTRIBUTION .

CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

Disconnect A/C and AV switch connector.
Check voltage between connector terminals and ground as follows.

A/C AND AV SWITCH CONNECTOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT CHECK CHART

OK or NG

OK : GO TO 3.
NG : Check harness for open or short between A/C and AV switch and fuse.

CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Check continuity between A/C and AV switch and ground as follows.

A/C AND AV SWITCH CONNECTOR GROUND CIRCUIT CHECK CHART

Connector	Terminal (Wire color)
M48	5 (B)	Ground	OFF	Yes

OK or NG

OK : INSPECTION END.
NG : Repair or replace harness.
