Code Enable Criteria

Following conditions must be met for DTC diagnostic test to run:

No ECT sensor, CKP sensor, EGR sensor, EVAP, MAP sensor, TP sensor, injector, misfire, A/D Multiplexer DTCs are set.
Engine speed is steady, changing less than 20 RPM.
Engine speed is between 1000 and 4000 RPM.
Throttle position is steady, throttle angle changes less than 5 percent.
EGR flow rate is steady, changing less than 2 percent.
IAC valve counts are steady, changing less than 3 counts.
No change in brake, A/C clutch, Torque Converter Clutch, or Power Steering Pressure (PSP) switch status.
Engine coolant temperature is 14°F (-10°C) or more.
Above conditions are met for 80 test failures within 160 test samples (125 msec/test).
Actual MAP value varies more than 10 kPa.
MAP value must vary for a total of 10 seconds, during 20 second period of time that samples were monitored.
