Code Enable Criteria

Following conditions must be met for DTC diagnostic test to run:

No scan tool test is being run.
No EGR, HO2S (response, transition, open, low voltage, no activity). MAF sensor, TPS, MAP sensor, IAT sensor, EVAP system (canister purge), fuel injector circuit or misfire DTCs are set.
Engine coolant temperature is between 149°F (65°C) and 219°F (104°C).
Intake air temperature is between -40°F (-40°C) and 248°F (120°C).
Manifold absolute pressure is between 24 and 99 kPa.
Engine speed is between 400 and 6000 RPM.
Barometric pressure is 72.5 kPa or more.
Ignition system is 9.5 volts or more.
Engine is operating in closed loop mode.
Average of short term fuel trim samples is 1.012 or more, and adaptive index multiplier samples is 1.25 or more.
