Sliding Door Open/Close Switch System Inspection

SLIDING DOOR OPEN/CLOSE SWITCH FUNCTION INSPECTION
Check sliding door open/close switch using switch operation.

OK or NG
- OK: Sliding door open/close switch is OK.
- NG: GO TO 2.
SLIDING DOOR OPEN/CLOSE SWITCH SIGNAL INSPECTION
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. While operating the sliding door open/close switch, check voltage between sliding door control unit (LH or RH) connector terminals 2 and ground.

OK or NG
- OK: Sliding door open/close switch is OK.
- NG: GO TO 3.
SLIDING DOOR OPEN/CLOSE SWITCH CIRCUIT INSPECTION
1. Disconnect sliding door open/close switch and sliding door control unit.
2. Check continuity between sliding door open/close switch connector terminal 1 and sliding door control unit connectors terminal 2.
  - 1 (BR/W) RH or (R/G) LH -: Continuity should exist.
  - 2 (BR/W)
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 4.
- NG: Repair or replace harness.

SLIDING DOOR OPEN/CLOSE SWITCH GROUND INSPECTION
Check continuity between sliding door open/close switch connector terminal 2 and ground.
- 2 (B) - Ground: Continuity should exist.
OK or NG
- OK: Replace the sliding door open/close switch.
- NG: Repair or replace harness.
