Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check for Display Unit

- CHECK POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT FOR DISPLAY CONTROL UNIT
- Check power supply and ground circuit for display control unit. Refer to "POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT CHECK FOR DISPLAY CONTROL UNIT ".
OK or NG
OK : GO TO 2.
NG : Repair malfunctioning part.
- CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT FOR DISPLAY UNIT
- Disconnect display unit connector M93.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between display unit harness connector M93 terminals 2, 3 and ground.
Approx. 9V
OK or NG
OK : GO TO 4.
NG : GO TO 3.
- CHECK HARNESS
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect display control unit connector M94.
- Check continuity between display control unit harness connector M94 terminals 2, 4 and display unit harness connector M93 terminals 2, 3.CONTINUITY CONDITIONS

OK or NG
OK : Replace display control unit. Refer to "DISPLAY CONTROL UNIT ".
NG : Repair harness.
- CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Check continuity between display unit harness connector M93 terminals 13, 14 and ground.
Continuity should exist.
OK or NG
OK : GO TO 6.
NG : GO TO 5.
- CHECK HARNESS
- Disconnect display control unit connector M94.
- Check continuity between display unit harness connector M93 terminals 13, 14 and display control unit harness connector M94 terminals 5, 7.
Continuity should exist.
OK or NG
OK : Replace display control unit. Refer to "DISPLAY CONTROL UNIT ".
NG : Repair harness.
- CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between display unit and ground as follows.
