Activating the alarm operation of the vehicle security system

Make sure the system is in the armed phase.

When one of the following operations is performed, the system sounds the horns and flashes the head-lamps for about 50 seconds.

  1. Any door is opened before unlocking door with key or Intelligent Key.
  2. Door is unlocked without using request switch, key or Intelligent Key.
  3. Trunk lid is opened without using request switch, key or Intelligent Key.
