Fail-Safe Mode

When malfunction "A" is detected, ECM enters fail-safe mode and MIL illuminates. ECM will determine throttle position based on injected fuel amount and engine speed. Therefore, acceleration will be poor.

NOTE: Perform the following DTC confirmation tests in order. If a DTC confirmation test has been previously performed, turn ignition off and wait at least 5 seconds before performing next DTC confirmation test.
