Possible Causes

Malfunction is detected when:
- DTC P0122 Or DTC P0123
An excessively low or high voltage from TP sensor is sent to ECM. - DTC P0121
A high voltage from TP sensor is sent to ECM under light load driving condition. - DTC P0121
A low voltage from TP sensor is sent to ECM under heavy load driving condition.
Possible causes are:
- TP sensor circuit open or shorted.
- Defective TP sensor.
- Defective fuel injector (malfunction "B" only).
- Defective camshaft position sensor (malfunction "B" only).
- Defective mass airflow sensor (malfunction "B" only).
- Intake air leaks (malfunction "C" only).
