DTC Confirmation Test (Using CONSULT-II)

Start engine and warm to normal operating temperature.
Turn ignition off and wait at least 5 seconds.
Start engine and let it idle for at least 70 seconds.
Select PURG FLOW P0441 of EVAPORATIVE SYSTEM in DTC CONFIRMATION mode with CONSULT-II.
Press START. If COMPLETED is displayed, go to step 7 . If COMPLETED is not displayed, go to next step.
When the following conditions are met, TESTING will be displayed on CONSULT-II screen:
2.4L Models
- Vehicle speed: 20-75 MPH.
- ENG SPEED: 500-3750 RPM.
- Engine coolant temperature: more than 158°F (70°C).
3.3L Models
- Vehicle speed: 20-75 MPH.
- ENG SPEED: 500-3400 RPM.
- B/FUEL SCHDL: 1.0-10.0 msec.
- Engine coolant temperature: 158-212°F (70-100°C).
On all models, maintain conditions continuously until TESTING changes to COMPLETED (it will take at least 35 seconds).

NOTE: If TESTING does not change to COMPLETED, retry from step 2 .
Press SELF-DIAG RESULTS. If NG is displayed, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE . If OK is displayed, system is okay at this time.
