Inspection Between TCM and Differential Lock Control Unit Circuit

- CHECK CONNECTOR
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
- Check following terminals and connectors for damage, bend and loose connection (connector side and harness side).
- Harness connector F14
- Harness connector E5
- Harness connector E34
- Harness connector B40
OK or NG
OK: GO TO 2.
NG: Repair terminal or connector.
- CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
- Disconnect A/T assembly connector and harness connector F14.
- Check continuity between A/T assembly harness connector (A) and harness connector (B).

CONTINUITY REFERENCEA B Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal F9 3 F14 5 Yes 8 15 Yes
OK or NG
OK: GO TO 3.
NG: Repair harness.
- CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
- Disconnect harness connector E34.
- Check continuity between harness connector (A) and harness connector (B).

OK or NG
OK: GO TO 4.
NG: Repair harness.
- CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
- Disconnect differential lock control unit connector.

OK: Connect all the connectors and diagnose again. Refer to "TROUBLE DIAGNOSES WORK FLOW ".
NG: Repair harness.
