System Description: Operation

After starting the engine with the lighting switch in the "OFF" or 1ST position, the headlamp high beam automatically turns on. Lighting switch operations other than the above are the same as conventional light systems.

  • Hi: "HIGH BEAM" position
  • Lo: "LOW BEAM" position
  • P: "FLASH TO PASS" position

  • X: Lamp dims. (Added functions)
  • *: When starting the engine with the parking brake released, the daytime lights will operate.

    When starting the engine with the parking brake applied, the daytime lights will not operate.
