Rear Window Defogger Signal Check

  1. CHECK REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER SWITCH LAMP 

    A/C and AV switch self-diagnosis is executed. Refer to "A/C AND AV SWITCH SELF-DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION "

    Does rear window defogger switch light? 

    OK or NG

    1. OK: GO TO 2.
    2. NG: Replace A/C and AV switch.
  2. CHECK AV COMMUNICATION LINE 

    AV communication line check is executed. Refer to "AV COMMUNICATION LINE CHECK "

    Is rear window defogger displayed on the display? 

    OK or NG

    1. OK: GO TO 3.
    2. NG: Replace display control unit.
  3. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION LINE 

    CAN communication line check is executed. Refer to "CAN COMMUNICATION LINE CHECK "

    OK or NG

    1. OK: Check the condition of the harness and the connector.
    2. NG: In addition, it is necessary to check CAN communication line. Refer to "CAN COMMUNICATION LINE CHECK "
