Test G: Light Auto Turn Off System Light Does Not Operate

- Read the value of the hand-held tester. Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3. Turn the ignition switch ON and push the hand-held tester main SW ON. Select the item IG SW, ACC SW in the DATA LIST and read it's value displayed on the hand-held tester. If IG SW was selected, the OK results are: the IG key is in the ON or START position and the ignition switch turns ON and the IG key is in the OFF position and the ignition switch turns OFF. If ACC SW was selected, the OK results are: the IG key is in the ACC, ON or START position and the ignition switch turns ON and the IG key is in the OFF or ACC position and the ignition switch turns OFF. If the results are OK, go to the next step. If the results are not good, replace the ignition or starter switch assembly. - Read the value of the hand-held tester. Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3. Turn the ignition switch ON and push the hand-held tester main SW ON. Select the item D DOR CTY SW in the DATA LIST and read it's value displayed on the hand-held tester. The results are OK when the driver's door is open and the door courtesy lamp turns ON and the driver's door is closed and the door courtesy lamp turns OFF. If the results are OK, check and replace the driver side junction block assembly. If the results are not good, replace the front door courtesy lamp switch assembly.
