Steering Wheel Audio Control Switch Check

AV SWITCH SELF-DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION CHECK
1. Start AV switch self-diagnosis function. Refer to "AV SWITCH SELF-DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION ".
2. Operate steering wheel audio control switch.
Does steering wheel audio control switch operate normally?
1. OK: Inspection End.
2. NG: GO TO 2.
CHECK HARNESS
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect AV switch connector M98 and spiral cable connector M30.
3. Check continuity between spiral cable harness connector terminals and AV switch harness connector terminals.

4. Check continuity between AV switch and ground.

OK or NG
1. OK: GO TO 2.
2. NG: Repair harness.
SPIRAL CABLE CHECK
Check spiral cable harness.

OK or NG
1. OK: GO TO 4.
2. NG: Replace spiral cable. Refer to "SPIRAL CABLE ".
CHECK STEERING WHEEL AUDIO CONTROL SWITCH RESISTANCE
Check resistance between steering wheel audio control switch terminals.

OK or NG
1. OK: Replace AV switch. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION FOR AV SWITCH ".
2. NG: Replace steering wheel audio control switch. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF STEERING WHEEL AUDIO CONTROL SWITCHES ".
