The headlamp system for Canada vehicles is equipped with a daytime light control unit that activates high beam headlamps at approximately half illumination whenever engine is running. If parking brake is applied before engine is started daytime lights will not be illuminated. The daytime lights will illuminate once parking brake is released. Thereafter, daytime lights will continue to operate when parking brake is applied.
And battery saver system is controlled by BCM (body control module).
