Vehicle Speed Signal Check for NAVI Control Unit

- CHECK HARNESS
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect NAVI control unit connector P107, display control unit connector M94 and combination meter connector M24.
- Check continuity between NAVI control unit harness connector P107 (B) terminal 66 and combination meter harness connector M24 (A) terminal 14.
Continuity should exist.
- Check continuity between NAVI control unit harness connector P107 (B) terminal 66 and ground.
Continuity should not exist.

OK or NG
OK: GO TO 2.
NG: Repair harness.
- CHECK 1: VEHICLE SPEED SIGNAL
- Connect NAVI control unit connector, display control unit connector and combination meter connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between NAVI control unit harness connector P107 terminal 66 and ground.
Approx. 3.5V or more
OK or NG
OK: GO TO 3.
NG: Replace NAVI control unit. Refer to , "NAVI CONTROL UNIT ".
- CHECK 2: VEHICLE SPEED SIGNAL
- Drive vehicle at a constant speed.
- Check signal between NAVI control unit harness connector P107 terminal 66 and ground with CONSULT-II or oscilloscope.
66 - Ground: Refer to , " TERMINALS AND REFERENCE VALUE FOR NAVI CONTROL UNIT ".
OK or NG
OK: Replace NAVI control unit. Refer to , "NAVI CONTROL UNIT ".
NG: Check combination meter system. Refer to , "VEHICLE SPEED SIGNAL INSPECTION ".
