Room Light Assembly: Inspection

  1. INSPECT NO. 1 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      CONNECTOR TERMINAL RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2
      1 - 3
      Switch is OFF 10 kΩ or higher
    2. Connect the battery positive (+) lead to terminal 1 and the battery negative (-) lead to terminal 2, nd then check that the light comes on when the switch is in the DOOR position.

      OK: Light comes on. 

    3. Connect the battery positive (+) lead to terminal 1 and the battery negative (-) lead to terminal 3, and then check that the light comes on when the switch is in the ON position.

      OK: Light comes on.

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      OK: Light comes on.
