Shift Cable

Loosen nut of control rod. See Fig 1 .

Place PNP switch and selector lever in "P" position.
After pushing shift cable in direction shown with appropriate force, release it. This is in its natural state, tighten shift cable nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
