Deployment Tool Check

  1. Remove battery from vehicle and place on dry wood blocks 16 feet (4.9 m) from vehicle. Wait at least 3 minutes before proceeding. Connect Red deployment clip to positive battery terminal and Black deployment clip to negative battery terminal.
  2. Light on right side of deployment tool (deployment tool power) should glow Green and light on left side (air bag connector voltage) should not glow. If right light glows Red, reverse polarity of battery connections. If right light does not glow, use another battery.
  3. Press deployment button to ON position. Light on left side of deployment tool (air bag connector voltage) should glow Green. If it does not glow, replace deployment tool.
