Check Door Switch (With Navigation System)

First perform the "SELF-DIAG RESULTS"in "BCM"with CONSULT-II, then perform the each trouble diagnosis of malfunction system indicated "SELF-DIAG RESULTS"of "BCM", Refer to CONSULT-II FUNCTION (BCM) .

1. Check door switch input signal  .

   With CONSULT-II 

   Check door switches ("DOOR SW-DR"and "DOOR SW-AS") in "DATA MONITOR"mode with CONSULT-II.

   Without CONSULT-II 

   Check voltage between combination meter connector M19 terminals 7, 6 and ground.

   OK or NG

   1. OK : Door switch circuit is OK.
   2. NG : GO TO  2 .

2. Check door switch circuit  .
   1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
   2. Disconnect door switch and combination meter connector.
   3. Check continuity between door switch connector B17 (driver side), B410 (passenger side) terminals 1 and combination meter connector M19 terminals 7, 6.
      1. Driver side door 
      2. 1 (G/B) - 7 (W) : Continuity should exist. 
      3. Passenger side door 
      4. 1 (P) - 6 (P) : Continuity should exist. 
   4. Check continuity between door switch connector B17 (driver side), B410 (passenger side) terminals 1 and ground.
      1. 1 (G/B or P) - Ground : Continuity should not exist. 

   OK or NG

   1. OK : GO TO  3 .
   2. NG : Repair or replace harness.

3. Check door switch  .

   Check continuity between door switch B17 (driver side) or B410 (passenger side) terminal 1 and ground part of door switch.

   OK or NG

   1. OK : GO TO  4 .
   2. NG : Replace door switch.

4. Check combination meter output signal  .
   1. Connect combination meter connector.
   2. Check voltage between combination meter connector M19 terminals 6, 7 and ground.

      1. 6 (P) - Ground : Approx. 5 
      2. 7 (W) - Ground : Approx. 5 

   OK or NG

   1. OK : Check harness connection.
   2. NG : Replace combination meter.
