Door Switch Check/Without Navigation System

CHECK DOOR SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL
With CONSULT-II

Check door switches ("DOOR SW-DR" and "DOOR SW-AS") in "DATA MONITOR" mode with CONSULT-II.

Without CONSULT-II

Check voltage between BCM connector and ground.

OK or NG
1. OK : Door switch is OK.
2. NG : GO TO 2.
CHECK DOOR SWITCH CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect door switch and BCM connector.
3. Check continuity between front door switch driver side connector B17, B23 terminals 1 and BCM connector B4 terminals 10, 14.
  1. Driver side door
  2. 1 (W) - 14 (W): Continuity should exist.
  3. Passenger side door
  4. 1 (P) - 10 (P): Continuity should exist.
4. Check continuity between door switch connector B17, B23 terminal 1 and ground.
  1. 1 (W or P) - Ground: Continuity should not exist.
OK or NG
1. OK : GO TO 3.
2. NG : Repair or replace harness.

CHECK DOOR SWITCH
Check continuity between each door switch terminal 1 and body ground part of door switch.

OK or NG
1. OK : Further inspection is necessary. Refer to symptom chart.
2. NG : Replace malfunction door switch.
