Power Window Switch Power Supply Circuit Check

  1. POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT CHECK 
    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Check voltage between power window main switch connector D7 terminal 1, 10 and ground.
      1. 1 (W) - Ground: Battery voltage 
      2. 10 (W) - Ground: Battery voltage

    3. Check voltage between power window sub-switch connector D43 terminal 10 and ground.
      1. 10 (R)-Ground: Battery voltage

    OK or NG 

    OK: Power window switch power supply is OK.

    NG: GO TO 2.

  2. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect BCM, power window main switch and power window sub-switch connector.
    3. Check continuity between BCM connector M1 terminal 28, 29, power window main switch connector D7 terminal 1, 10, and between BCM connector M1 terminal 28, 29 and ground.
      1. BCM - Power window main switch 
      2. 28 (W) - 1 (W): Continuity should exist. 
      3. 29 (Y/B) - 10 (P): Continuity should exist. 
      4. BCM - Ground 
      5. 28 (W) - Ground: Continuity should not exist. 
      6. 29 (Y/B) - Ground: Continuity should not exist.

    4. Check continuity between BCM connector M1 terminal 28, power window sub-switch connector D43 terminal 10, and between BCM connector M1 terminal 28 and ground.
    5. BCM - Power window sub-switch 
      1. 28 (W) - 10 (R): Continuity should exist. 
      2. BCM - Ground 
      3. 28 (W) - Ground: Continuity should not exist. 

    OK or NG 

    OK: GO TO 3

    NG: Repair or replace harness.

  3. CHECK BCM OUTPUT SIGNAL 
    1. Connect BCM connector.
    2. Turn ignition switch ON.
    3. Check voltage between BCM connector M1 terminal 28, 29 and ground.
      1. 28 (W) - Ground: Battery voltage 
      2. 29 (Y/B) - Ground: Battery voltage 

    OK or NG 

    OK: INSPECTION END

    NG: Replace BCM.
