Engine Coolant Temperature System

CONNECTOR INSPECTION
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Check terminals (meter-side, control unit-side, and harness-side) on the meter and ECM for disconnection and bend.
OK or NG
1. OK: GO TO 2.
2. NG: Repair terminal or connector.
ECM SYSTEM INSPECTION
- Perform ECM self-diagnosis. Refer to "CONSULT-II ".
OK or NG
1. OK: GO TO 3.
2. NG: Go to ECM trouble diagnosis.
SELF-DIAGNOSIS INSPECTION
- Perform combination meter self-diagnosis. Refer to "SELF-DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION ".
OK or NG
1. OK: Condition is normal.
2. NG: Replace the combination meter.
