Control Valve Assembly: Assembly

1. Place oil circuit of upper body face up. Install steel balls in their proper positions.

2. Install reamer bolts from bottom of upper body.

3. Place oil circuit of lower body face up. Install orifice check spring, orifice check valve and pilot filter.

4. Install lower separator plate on lower body.
5. Install and temporarily tighten support plates, A/T fluid temperature sensor and tube brackets.

6. Temporarily assemble lower and upper bodies, using reamer bolt as a guide.

• Be careful not to dislocate or drop steel balls, orifice check spring, orifice check valve and pilot filter.

1. Attach O-ring and install torque converter clutch solenoid valve and side plates onto lower body.

2. Attach O-rings and install 3-unit solenoids assembly onto upper body.
3. Attach O-ring and install line pressure solenoid valve onto upper body.
