Steering Switch Check (Without Bluetooth)

AUDIO UNIT SELF-DIAGNOSIS MODE CHECK
1. Start audio unit self-diagnosis mode. Refer to "SELF-DIAGNOSIS MODE ".
2. Operate steering switch.
Does steering switch operate normally?

YES: Inspection End.

NO: GO TO 2.

CHECK HARNESS

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect audio unit connector M43 and spiral cable connector M30.

Check continuity between audio unit connector terminal and spiral cable connector terminal.

Check continuity between audio unit and ground.

OK or NG

OK: GO TO 3.

NG: Repair harness.

SPIRAL CABLE CHECK
1. Disconnect spiral cable connector M78.
2. Check continuity between spiral cable terminals.
  15 - 33 : Continuity should exist.
  
  17 - 31 : Continuity should exist.
  
  19 - 25 : Continuity should exist.

OK or NG

OK: GO TO 4.

NG: Replace spiral cable. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".

CHECK STEERING SWITCH RESISTANCE

Check resistance between spiral cable connector M102 terminals.

OK: Inspection End.

NG: Replace steering switch. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
