Encoder and Limit Switch Check (Front LH)
- CHECK DOOR WINDOW SLIDE MECHANISM
Check the following.
- Obstacles in window, glass molding, etc.
- Worn or deformed glass molding.
- Door sash tilted too far inward or outward.
- Door window regulator.
OK or NG
OK: GO TO 2.
NG: Remove obstacles or repair door window slide mechanism.
- CHECK LIMIT SWITCH OPERATION
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between main power window and door lock/unlock switch connector D7 terminal 9 and ground.TERMINAL CONDITION CONTINUITY CHART

OK or NG
OK: GO TO 3.
NG: Check harness between main power window and door lock/unlock switch and front power window motor LH.
- OK: Replace front power window motor LH.
- NG: Replace or repair harness.
- CHECK ENCODER
Measure voltage between main power window and door lock/unlock switch connector D7 terminal 16 (12) and ground with oscilloscope when power window is in automatic closing operation.

OK or NG
OK: Replace main power window and door lock/unlock switch.
NG: Replace front power window motor LH.
