Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK HARNESS
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect AV control unit connector M46 and spiral cable connector M30.
- Check continuity between AV control unit connector M46 (A) terminals 25, 26, and 27 and spiral cable connector M30 (B) terminals 24, 31, and 33.AV CONTROL UNIT AND SPIRAL CABLE CONTINUITY SPECIFICATION

Are the continuity test results as specified?
YES: GO TO 2
NO: Repair harness.
- SPIRAL CABLE CHECK
- Disconnect spiral cable connector M88.
- Check continuity between spiral cable harness connector M30 (A) and M88 (B).

Are the continuity test results as specified?
YES: GO TO 3.
NO: Replace spiral cable. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
- CHECK STEERING SWITCH
Check steering switch. Refer to "COMPONENT INSPECTION ".
Does the steering switch pass inspection?
YES: Inspection End.
NO: Replace steering switch. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
