Removal and Installation: Removal

CAUTION: Make sure that parking brake is applied before removal and installation.
  1. Place the selector lever in the "P" position.
  2. Remove the IP center assembly. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY .
  3. Disconnect the CVT shift selector harness connector.
  4. Remove the key interlock cable from the CVT shift selector assembly. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  5. Remove the control cable from the CVT shift selector assembly.
  6. Remove the nuts and the CVT shift selector assembly.
