Ignition Relay Malfunction Detection Function
- IPDM E/R monitors status of ignition relay by the voltage at ignition relay contact circuit inside it.
- IPDM E/R judges that the ignition relay is error, if status of the ignition relay and ignition switch ON signal (CAN).
- If the ignition relay cannot turn OFF due to contact seizure, it activates the tail lamp relay and daytime running light relay* for 10 minutes to alert the user to the ignition relay malfunction when the ignition switch is turned OFF.IGNITION RELAY MALFUNCTION DETECTION FUNCTION REFERENCE CHART
