INTELLIGENT KEY: Diagnosis Procedure

Lock/unlock door with Intelligent Key.

Refer to , REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY FUNCTION: SYSTEM DIAGRAM (Coupe models) or , REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY FUNCTION: SYSTEM DIAGRAM (Roadster models).

Is the inspection result normal? 

YES >> GO TO 2.

NO >> Check Intelligent Key system (remote keyless entry function). Refer to , DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE (Coupe models) or , DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE (Roadster models).

Check hood switch.

Refer to , "COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK ".

Is the inspection result normal? 

YES >> GO TO 3.

NO >> Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

Confirm the operation again.

Is the result normal? 

YES >> Check intermittent incident. Refer to , INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .

NO >> GO TO  1.
