BCM detects the following status for 500 ms or more when the ignition switch is in the ON position.
- Transmission range switch indicates vehicle is in P or N shift position. Signal from TCM indicates vehicle is in forward or reverse gear.
- Transmission range switch indicates vehicle is in forward or reverse gear. Signal from TCM indicates vehicle is in P or N.
