Recirculation Control Cable Adjustment

- Open the glove box. Release the glove box stop on each side, then let the glove box hang down (see PASSENGER'S DASHBOARD UNDERCOVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Set the recirculation control lever to FRESH ( )
- Detach the recirculation control cable housing from the clamp (A), and disconnect the inner cable (B) from the recirculation control linkage (C).
- Turn the recirculation control linkage fully clockwise, and hold it. Attach the recirculation control cable to the recirculation control linkage, then snap the recirculation control cable housing into the clamp.
- If the recirculation control cable can't be adjusted to work properly, replace the cable:
- Detach the cable from the recirculation control linkage.
- Detach the cable from the recirculation control lever, and remove it (see HEATER CONTROL PANEL DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY ).
- Install the new cable in the reverse order of removal, then adjust the cable.
- After installation, operate the controls to make sure they work properly.
