Component Function Check

CHECK O/D OFF INDICATOR LAMP
When ignition switch is turned ON, check that O/D OFF indicator lamp in combination meter illuminates during 2 seconds approximately.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES: GO TO 2.

NO: Go to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
CHECK OVERDRIVE CONTROL SWITCH
1. Shift the selector lever to "D" position.
2. When overdrive control switch is operated, check that O/D OFF indicator lamp in combination meter illuminates/extinguishes.
  Is the inspection result normal?
  
  YES: INSPECTION END.
  
  NO: Go to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
