Component Inspection
- CHECK KEY SWITCH
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect key switch connector.
- Check continuity between ignition knob switch, key switch and key lock solenoid terminals.
Terminal Condition Continuity Ignition knob switch, key switch and key lock solenoid 1 2 Insert mechanical key into key cylinder Exists Remove mechanical key from key cylinder Does not exist Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Key switch is OK.
NO: Replace ignition knob switch, key switch and key lock solenoid.
