Component Function Check

With CONSULT

1. Start engine.
2. Check "FUEL PRES SEN V" in "DATA MONITOR" mode of "ENGINE" using CONSULT.

   Monitor Item	Condition	Values/Status
   FUEL PRES SEN V	Engine speed: Idle	1, 140 - 1, 460 mV
   	Engine speed: Revving engine from idle to 4, 000 rpm quickly	1, 300 - 2, 900 mV

Without CONSULT

1. Start engine.
2. Check the voltage between ECM harness connector terminals as per the following conditions.

   (1) Under the following conditions A/C switch: OFF Electric load: OFF (Lights, heater fan & rear window defogger) Steering wheel: Kept in straight-ahead position

   Is the inspection result normal? 

   YES: INSPECTION END

   NO: Proceed to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
