Component Inspection [CVT Shift Selector (Park Position Switch)]

- CHECK CVT SHIFT SELECTOR (DETENTION SWITCH)
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect CVT shift selector connector.
- Check continuity between CVT shift selector (park position switch) terminals.
CVT shift selector (detention switch) Condition Continuity Terminal 7 8 Selector lever: P position Selector button: Released No Selector button: Pressed Yes Selector lever: Other than P position Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Inspection End.
NO: Replace CVT shift selector. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
