Component Function Check

  1. CHECK INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT) SENSOR 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect mass air flow sensor harness connector.
    3. Check resistance between mass air flow sensor terminals as follows.
      Mass air flow sensor Condition Resistance (kΩ)
      Terminal
      5 6 Temperature [°C (°F)] 25 (77) 1.800 - 2.200

      Is the inspection result normal? 

      YES: Check intermittent incident. Refer to "INTERMITTENT INCIDENT ".

      NO: Proceed to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
