Diagnosis Procedure

- PERFORM INITIALIZATION
- Perform initialization with CONSULT. Re-register all mechanical keys.
For initialization and registration of mechanical key. Refer to CONSULT Immobilizer mode and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Check "Self diagnostic result" with CONSULT.
Is DTC detected?
YES
GO TO STEP 2
NO
ID was unregistered.
- Perform initialization with CONSULT. Re-register all mechanical keys.
- REPLACE BCM
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Replace BCM. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Perform initialization with CONSULT. Re-register all mechanical keys.
For initialization and registration of mechanical key. Refer to CONSULT Immobilizer mode and follow the on-screen instructions.
Can the system be initialized and can the engine be started?
YES
BCM is malfunctioning.
NO
GO TO STEP 3
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .
