Diagnostic Procedure

CHECK HARNESS CONNECTOR

Check the harness connector for disconnection, looseness or damage.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO STEP 2 .

NO-1

Damage: Replace malfunctioning harness and connector.

NO-2

Disconnection or looseness: Securely lock the connector.

CHECK WIRING HARNESS

Check the wiring harness externals.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO STEP 3 .

NO

Replace malfunctioning harness and connector.

REPLACE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM CONTROL UNIT
1. Replace occupant classification system control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
2. Perform DTC confirmation procedure. Refer to DTC DESCRIPTION .
Is DTC detected?

YES

GO TO STEP 4 .

NO

INSPECTION END

REPLACE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM SENSOR
1. Replace seat frame. Refer to EXPLODED VIEW .
2. Perform DTC confirmation procedure. Refer to DTC DESCRIPTION .
Is DTC detected?

YES

GO TO STEP 5 .

NO

INSPECTION END

REPLACE AIR BAG DIAGNOSIS SENSOR UNIT
1. Replace air bag diagnosis sensor unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
2. Perform DTC confirmation procedure. Refer to DTC DESCRIPTION .
Is DTC detected?

YES

GO TO STEP 1 .

NO

INSPECTION END
