Diagnostic Test

  1. CHECK EPS MOTOR

    1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect EPS motor harness connector.
    3. Check resistance between EPS motor connector terminals.
      EPS motor Resistance (Approx.)
      Terminal
      19 20 0.1 Ω or less

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    Inspection End.

    NO 

    EPS motor is malfunctioning. Replace steering column assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
