Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WIRING DIAGRAM .

CHECK CVT SHIFT SELECTOR CIRCUIT (BCM)

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect CVT shift selector (park position switch) connector.
Disconnect BCM connector.

Check continuity between CVT shift selector (park position switch) harness connector and BCM harness connector.

M38	8	M97	37	Yes

Check continuity between CVT shift selector (park position switch) harness connector and ground.

CVT shift selector (park position switch)		Ground	Continuity

M38	8		No

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO STEP 2 .

Repair or replace harness.

CHECK CVT SHIFT SELECTOR CIRCUIT (IPDM E/R)

Disconnect IPDM E/R connector.

Check continuity between CVT shift selector (park position switch) harness connector and IPDM E/R harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO STEP 3 .

Repair or replace harness.

REPLACE BCM
1. Replace BCM. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
2. Perform initialization of BCM and registration of all Intelligent Keys using CONSULT.
3. Perform DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE for DTC B2601. Refer to DTC LOGIC .
Is DTC B2601 detected again?

YES

Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

NO

Inspection End.
