Shifter assembly

No.	Component	Function
1.	Inside key antenna (trunk room)	Inside key antenna (trunk room) detects whether Intelligent Key is inside the vehicle or not, and then transmits the signal to the Intelligent Key unit. Refer to Inside Key Antenna (trunk room) .
2.	Door switches	Door switch detects door open/close condition and then transmits ON/OFF signal to BCM. Refer to Front Door Switch or Rear Door Switch .
3.	Power window and door lock/unlock switch RH	Refer to Door Lock and Unlock Switch (Passenger Side) .
4.	Intelligent Key unit	Intelligent Key unit controls INTELLIGENT KEY SYSTEM (ENGINE START FUNCTION), NISSAN VEHICLE IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-NATS [NVIS (NATS)] and VEHICLE SECURITY SYSTEM. Intelligent Key unit performs the ID verification between Intelligent Key unit and Intelligent Key when the Intelligent Key is carried into the detection area of inside key antenna, and push-button ignition switch is pressed. If the ID verification result is OK, ignition switch operation is available. Then, when the ignition switch is turned ON, Intelligent Key unit performs ID verification between Intelligent Key unit and ECM. If the ID verification result is OK, ECM can start engine.
5.	Horn (low)	Horn is operated when the panic button on the Intelligent Key is pressed or the alarm is activated.
6.	Hood switch (if equipped)	Hood switch transmits hood open/closed signal to the IPDM E/R.
7.	TCM	Refer to TCM .
8.	ECM	Refer to Component Description .
9.	IPDM E/R	IPDM E/R detects hood open/closed signal and controls horns when horn chirp is required. Refer to Component Location for detailed component location.
10.	Stop lamp switch	Stop lamp switch detects that the brake pedal is depressed, and transmits the signal to the BCM. Refer to Stop lamp switch .
11.	Brake pedal position switch	Stop lamp switch detects that the brake pedal is depressed, and transmits the signal to the BCM.
12.	BCM	BCM controls the door lock actuators. Refer to Component Location for detailed component location
13.	Push-button ignition switch/NATS antenna amp	Push-button ignition switch has NATS antenna and push switch inside which detects that push-button ignition switch is pressed, and then transmits ON/OFF signal to Intelligent Key unit. Intelligent Key unit changes the ignition switch position with the operation of push-button ignition switch. Intelligent Key unit maintains the ignition switch position status while push-button ignition switch is not operated. Refer to NATS Antenna Amp. .
14.	Main power window and door lock/unlock switch	Refer to Main power window and door lock/unlock switch .
15.	Trunk lid opener assembly (Trunk lid lamp switch)	Trunk lid opener assembly (trunk lid lamp switch) detects open/close condition and then transmits ON/OFF signal to BCM.
16.	Transmission range switch	Supplies power to the starter cut relay (inside IPDM E/R) when the CVT shift selector is shifted into the P or N position.
17.	CVT shift selector (detent switch)	CVT shift selector detects the shift lever status and transmits park position switch signal status to the Intelligent Key unit. Refer to Component Location for detailed component location.
