Work Procedure
There is no vehicle specification in the new IPDM E/R, so the vehicle specification needs to be written in IPDM E/R with CONSULT.
Configuration has three functions as follows.

CAUTION:
Never perform vehicle configuration other than performing with a new IPDM E/R or the control function may not operate normally.
- WRITING MODE SELECTION
CONSULT
Reads the vehicle specification.
When writing saved data (able to be read)
GO TO 2.
When writing manually (could not be read)
GO TO 3.
- PERFORM WRITING SAVED DATA
CONSULT
- Ignition switch ON.
- Select "Re/programming, Configuration". Select the vehicle specifications saved with "Before ECU Replacement" and then write them to the replacement IPDM E/R.
GO TO 5.
- PERFORM WRITING MANUALLY (IPDM E/R)
CONSULT
- Ignition switch ON.
- Select the "IPDM E/R" of "Re/programming, Configuration".
- Select the "Type ID" searched by using FAST (service parts catalogue) to write the "Type ID" into the IPDM E/R.CAUTION: Check the "Type ID" accurately. If the "Type ID" is selected incorrectly, ECU control may not function normally.
GO TO 4.
- PERFORM WRITING MANUALLY (HLL)
CONSULT
Select the "HLL" tab. Select the specifications applicable to the vehicle and then write them to IPDM E/R. Refer to Work Item List .
CAUTION:- Thoroughly read and understand the vehicle specification. ECU control may not operate normally if the setting is not correct.
- If the operation ends in mid operation, it is because vehicle specifications are not saved. Be sure to complete writing, even if the settings values displayed in "Manual selection" and the settings values in the ECU settings list are the same.
GO TO 5.
- OPERATION CHECK
Confirm that each function controlled by IPDM E/R operates normally.
