Encoder Circuit Check

1. Ignition switch ON.
2. Check signal between power window and door lock/unlock switch RH connector and ground with an oscilloscope.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Check intermittent incident. Refer to Inspection .

NO

GO TO 2.

1. Ignition switch ON.
2. Check voltage between front power window motor RH connector and ground.

   D104	2	Ground	10

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4.

NO

GO TO 3.

1. Ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect power window and door lock/unlock switch RH connector and front power window motor RH connector.
3. Check continuity between power window and door lock/unlock switch RH connector and front power window motor RH connector.

   Power window and door lock/unlock switch RH		Front power window motor RH		Continuity

   D105	5	D104	2	Yes

4. Check continuity between power window and door lock/unlock switch RH connector and ground.

   Power window and door lock/unlock switch RH		Ground	Continuity

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace power window and door lock/unlock switch RH. Refer to Removal and Installation . After that, refer to Work Procedure .

NO

Repair or replace harness or connectors.

1. Ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect front power window motor RH connector.
3. Check continuity between front power window motor RH connector and ground.

   Front power window motor RH		Ground	Continuity
   Connector	Terminal
   D104	4		Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 6.

NO

GO TO 5.

1. Disconnect power window and door lock/unlock switch RH connector.
2. Check continuity between power window and door lock/unlock switch RH connector and front power window motor RH connector.

   Power window and door lock/unlock switch RH		Front power window motor RH		Continuity

   D105	4	D104	4	Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace power window and door lock/unlock switch RH. Refer to Removal and Installation .

NO

Repair or replace the harness or connectors.

1. Disconnect power window and door lock/unlock switch RH connector.

2. Check continuity between power window and door lock/unlock switch RH connector and front power window motor RH connector.
3. Check continuity between power window and door lock/unlock switch RH connector and ground.

   	9

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace front power window motor RH. After that, Refer to Work Procedure .

NO

Repair or replace harness or connectors.
