Work Procedure

CAUTION:

Perform "Valve Timing Offset Data Clear" first. Refer to Description .
When information of two-dimensional code can not read, perform "Valve Timing Offset Data Clear" only.
When replacing engine, remove old 2 dimensional code label and paste only new label in case of reusing intake manifold.

PERFORM VALVE TIMING OFFSET DATA WRITING

With CONSUL

Turn ignition switch ON.
Perform Valve timing offset data clear. Refer to Work Procedure .
Select "VALVE TIMING OFFSET DATA WRITING" in "WORK SUPPORT" of "ENGINE" using CONSULT.

Input 2 dimensional code

pasted on engine with following directions shown on CONSULT screen.

NOTE: 2 dimensional code label is pasted on electric throttle control actuator (the pasted location may be different depending on replacement history).

Turn ignition switch OFF and wait for 60 seconds.
Turn ignition switch ON.
Perform self-diagnosis and check that DTC P100C is not displayed.
